its suuuuuuper soft in comparison to hb, the best way to use it is definitely with layering because it is just that soft. also the lightest amount of pressure will break it which is just another reason to use layering with it.

27AUG23This 4B lead is behaves like what I currently use (brand is different but unknown) and its performance is similar. However, I don't use it for artwork. Not sure why the multi-color book tab Post-its were included. I took off a star because the 'smudge proofness' claimed didn't appear to be an actual difference. This is more lead than I usually purchase, so I'm good for a long while. The price was good too.
