I originally ordered the SUNGDOGIN Unisex Sleeveless Medieval Gothic Tailcoat to use as a renaissance fair costume, but ended up wearing it as a halloween costume first. The material is very soft and decent quality. Better than a bagged costume you might find in a halloween store. I feel like it is going to hold up to many uses and will not tear easily. There are eyelets and a string on each side to lace the front and back together. The included string is fairly thin. It will hold everything together but looks cheap compared to the garment material. I may switch this out for a thicker string at a later date. The vest is comfortable to wear and the material flows well. The collar is very wide. The straps down the front are a light weight plastic/faux leather material and the buckles thin metal, but they worked as intended. These might be the weakest part of the product, but may hold up if not fastened and unfastened too many times, The product photos are a little deceiving since they layered the vest over the top of a similarly colored undershirt giving the impression of more material at the bottom of the vest. The photo of just the vest without a model is the best representation on the item. It has four strips that hang down below the waist (two in front and two in back). I am 5'3" and ordered the large based on bust size. The tails hang down below my knees. I am very happy with this costume piece, but be aware it is just the vest and will need many other accessories and clothing pieces to complete the look.

Can definitely tell it is a costume quality piece. It gets the job done. Straps are ok at best. I definitely don't see this lasting multiple uses, which is fine if it's just for Halloween or the occasional ren fair which is a shame considering the price.

Ok, so I wanted to put together an elven rogue type costume this year. I saw this and immediately thought it would make a great costume piece for exactly what I was trying to create.It arrived at my house within a couple days packed well and outside of some wrinkles it looked exactly like the pictures. it was simple to figure out and I already had a shirt that would look great under it and a pair of brown pants that are perfect, a brown hooded cowl completed my costume and I got MANY compliments when I walked with the kids trick or treating. It really is a nice quality costume piece. A bit better than I expected in all honesty. This will be going to renaissance fairs and costume events for years.

This costume is decent as a base costume, but really requires alot more like extra fabric or props to really make everything come together. The fabric itself is okay, but nothing really super comfortable or memorable.

The material is thin, the straps are lightweight, and it's basically a T-shirt with tails and cheap straps. There is no way that this tunic is worth its current price point of around $60.That being said, if you are willing to invest that much in a garment that may not last very long, it DOES have a distinctive look to it. There are a multitude of costume ideas for which this could serve as a base. I will be wearing it to RenFest as part of my archer getup, although I am afraid of strapping my quiver across the tunic's lightweight closures.If it makes it through a full day of festival, then I will happily revisit this review to change my initial opinion of its fragility.

I’m not impressed. If this was in the $20 range it would be 5 stars, but the quality doesn’t match the price. It’s a cheap flimsy look and feel. Even the hardware and “leather” is cheap looking. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend it.
