I don't know that much about silicon, except it reduces friction on the underside of the walking belt of a treadmill.We used it, and it works very well. The squeeze bottle has enough silicon to last our lifetime. Highly recommend it because, based on videos I saw, you supposed to lubricate the treadmill bottom at least once a year!!

I bought this not to lubricate a treadmill belt, but to add to pouring paint causing "cells" to form. My daughter and I refinished a table with this technique and it look great!

I purchased it to make cells in my acrylic pouring paintings it works just as well as Spot On Treadmill Lubricant.I do find the heading and description misleading it says (1 PACK - 2 pack) which led me to believe you got 2 bottlesbecause I seen no where in the listing to purchase a 2 pack.

items works, shipping needs to be addressed. Received product in the box and it had leaked all over my other items in the box. Didn't return cause I needed to use the product. Just want it to be know that they need to get a better cap on the product so this doesn't happen again.
