Bought Oct 2024 with 1 year warranty. Uni-t was functioning normally until it stopped. Units screen remains the same when turning the dial and the select button doesn’t function. Informed CS and they instruct me to return to seller. Another email to tell them Amazon won’t take returns after 30 days. Now Uni-t have gone silent. I am stuck with a non functioning unit. Terrible customer service.

UNI-T UT139SFirst of all, this is the second review I'm trying to post. Seems like someone is censoring critical reviews of this product.Pros:- ***Well constructed and has good input protection.- Has LoZ and LPF (useful for electricians mostly)- Has uA and mV ranges (nice for electronics)- Has REL/delta mode (nice for electronics)- Meets all the specifications listed in the manual- The rubber housing feels very premiumCons:- It's overpriced for what it is. The UT139C sells for around $75 or less when it's on sale. That's essentially 99% identical to the UT139S which costs double.- The bar graph is mostly decorative- The range switch is EXTREMELY stiff and hard to turn. Forget about 1 handed bench operation.- ***No access to fuses under battery cover- The backlight auto enables itself every time you turn the meter ON. Very annoying. The backlight in general has little to no effect on the display in normally lit environments. Unless you use it in complete pitch black darkness which would be a bit unrealistic.- The reverse display is nearly impossible to read in bright/sunny conditions.- It has no diode forward voltage confirmation beeps- For a 6000 counts meter the DC accuracy is sub par (0.5%) A 6K counts meter should be in the 0.17% range.- The plastics UNI-T started using for their display covers is terrible and it micro scratches quite badly almost immediately.All in all it could have been a great meter but those listed annoyances made me return mine and I don't miss it at all. In other words I would not recommend this unit but rather pick up the UT139C if you like it for all the pros and not the cons. It's also half the price. The only thing your skipping there is the LoZ and LPF and bar graph. Alternatively, you can pick up the Uni-T UT139E version too, which is basically the same meter but without the reverse display. That one is around $100 which is still cheaper and arguably it's a better display (way more adoptable to dark or bright conditions). It also has that same bar graph and the LoZ and LPF features.

For the first 3 months I was happy with it, and then suddenly the A and mA side just stopped working properly. I tried sending a message through their website but I never heard back from them.

The leads fit tightly but the manual was in Chinese which makes it useless. Amazon is littered with these no-name meters by companies that don't really exist.
