Poor machining on threads. wrong diameter inside allows standard orifice tubes to travel toward evaporator. Costed me extra money in repairs. I wish i could give negative stars! AVOID!

When trying to replace my office tube, the aluminum hose bolts stripped and couldn't be reused. Instead of buying a new AC hose from the dealer ($215+), I tired this universal orfice and it worked perfectly. I simply cut the existing AC line with a standard plumbing pipe cutter and installed this in place of the old orfice. If yours leaks, chances are the brass fittings are installed backwards. They should be installed cone facing out. Hope this helps.
