This cat box scoop holder is big. It fits two of the regular sized scoops that we have. It catches the "stuff" that falls of of the scoop after using it, and keeps the scoop clean side up ready for the next use. The holder also comes apart for cleaning. This little gadget makes scooping the cat box just a little bit easier.Not much else to say about a cat box scoop holder. It just works.

I have a large scooper with a telescopic handle. This is wider than my scooper so it fits in with room to spare. With the handle beings longer than normal it does have trouble standing. I added a double-sided adhesive pad and stuck it to the side of the litter box. It keeps the scooper in a good location out of the way for the cat and I. Best of all I no longer have to leave it on the shelf or carpet. When I deep clean of the litter box monthly. I can remove the bottom of the scoop holder to clean while the outer shell is still stuck to the litter box.

I didn't know I needed this litter scoop holder but definitely glad I got it. I have a fairly large and heavy metal scooper and this little holder it standing strong, I even tested it a few times by tossing the scoop in faster instead of placing it nicely and it stayed standing (this was on carpet). I like that it's a 2 part so you can use bags if you want but it's also a solid plastic and it'll be easy to wash when I do my monthly litter box deep clean.

No one likes to see litter scoops. They are just not attractive. Logically, they have to be kept near the litter box for ease of use, but how to store them to keep them handy and readily accessible, while keeping them off the floor?This little gizmo works great. I was able to use the waste bags I like to use to line it, and the exterior sleeve keeps everything neat and tidy.My only regret is that now I'll have to buy another one to keep at my other litter box.It's one of those rare tools that you didn't understand how much you needed until you get one, and now you don't understand why you didn't have one years ago.

I love that this scoop holder accommodates a bag to collect the stray litter that will inevitably collect in it. None of my other scoop holders have this feature and it's sort of mind-boggling now that I think about it.As others have mentioned, it's lightweight, but my heaviest scoop works with this because I coincidentally have the holder wedged between the wall and the litter box. Otherwise, it would easily tip over if bumped.The 8.5 width is quite generous, and now that I see this in person, I feel it takes up too much real estate as most of my scoops are about 4 to five inches wide. But this is just preference.

I have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes scattered around my condo. I discovered scoop holders like this one a month or so ago, and love them so much that I now own 2!The double layer design allows you to line it with a bag to keep things clean on the inside without adding one more thing to wash, & the bag actually stays in place until you want to remove/replace it.Just as importantly, this scoop holder is big enough to hold a large scoop or two (I have 2 scoops with different sizes of openings in my original scoop holder of the same size). This scoop holder is only housing 1 large scoop & enough space on all sides that I could keep bags, etc in there too if I wanted to (and if the scoop weren't touching kitty litter every time it came out of it's holder... Ick!).While I do think it's a bit expensive for what it is (currently $16), I do think it's worth it as the build quality is good, the double layer holds bags in place until you're ready to swap the bag out, and the fact that it keeps the scoop off the floor!

Based on other reviews, I was a bit worried about this tipping over, especially since my cat likes to rub against things. So when it arrived, I put the scoop in it and tested the stability. I wasn't unhappy, but just to be safe, I added some modeling clay into the bottom before adding my liner in, and now it's totally solid. I'm really happy, as it fits perfectly with the color scheme of the room and looks much better than having the scoop hanging on a peg.
