it is not .500 inches in order to install on .500 cold roll shaft it has to be rebored to fit.

Although the product description proclaims " 0.5x0.9x2.2 Inch", this coupling does NOT fit on a 1/2" shaft. The internal bore it too small, so you'll need to reduce the shaft or enlarge the bore to get things to fit. Other than that, the quality of the part is very poor.
