I have a home-brew sous vide cooking setup. It uses temperature controllers intended to be mounted in a panel, but there is no panel! The controllers have been sitting around with wires draping from them for several months and there was little I could do. I didn't have a way to secure these controller, and I haven't been successful at finding a panel with square cutout for a reasonable price. (What is reasonable? Well, $200 and more for a sheet metal enclosure is Unreasonable, so I never went forward.)When I came across this universal 2-DIN mounting kit I thought I could put it to use with my controllers. And, sure enough, they fit side-by-side snugly in the frame, and I'm able to secure the frame to an enclosure. Now I have a neat project and what was a tangled mess is now tidy.So why did I deduct one star? Because the sheet metal used is a bit flimsy. This probably isn't a bad thing when used in a car. This frame and your equipment are supposed to fit in, so the frame should be thin to assure the fit. I'm using this frame as an outer structure to independently hold equipment within. It's working for me, even though this wasn't the intended use for this frame. I would have preferred a finished frame that could more easily stand on its own and I express this with the removal of one star. Will this frame work for you in your car? Universal kits sometimes are not so very universal. You may have to compare measurements, or try and see. If this frame does fit, though, it will make your life a lot easier and make for a better installation. Consider it.

This is for "BRZOXIN Universal Double 2 Din Car Player Frame Fascia, Radio Mounting Panel Holder Cage Accessories"Received cage and accessories in plain cardboard box. Measurements accurate. Cage and brackets sheet metal are decent quality, not flimsy. Depending on the double din head unit being installed, may or may not need the black front frame.
