The ring clip popped off right away when I tried to Change it back to a regular bit.... Broke very easily but I fixed it( I hope)

I bought this flex shaft about 6 months ago, and only used it once for less than 10 mins up till today. Started using it for 2nd time today, and after a minute or so, it quit. The rotary tool itself wasnt even run over half r.p.m while shaft was hooked up, and attachment never bound up so theres no reason at all it should have snapped. I'll be generous and say I got 15 mins total run time out of it. Dont waste your time or money.

The Universal Flexible Flex Shaft Extension Cord Flexible Shaft for Rotary Grinder Tool M8 Keyless Chuck Clamping Dia. 3.2mm - is excellent and can be used with a Dremel, or any brand rotary grinder tool, and can also be used with a standard full-sized drill. That's what I'm using it with. I turned my regular drill into a small rotary grinder tool - (except it is much more powerful). It's great for automotive rust removal in hard to reach places. On the back of my Chevy Blazer there's a narrow indentation where the hinges for the glass door attach and this part of the vehicle continually develops rust which would be impossible to remove the rust with a standard grinder, or standard drill with wire brush attachment, or any other tool except this one, because nothing else will fit.

Overall it’s pretty good, I’d avoid running it over 25.000 for too long maybe 10,mins if the ends or any part becomes too hot to touch its not great for the device, bearings/bearing grease. Some high quality High temp bearing grease like maybe longboard bearing grease or something thin that can handle high temp. Anyways the only real issue is this: the threading, collet and whatever you call the thing that tightens the collet screwing on to the threaded tube the collet sits in are all not standard size. I dunno if this is to allow for bigger shanks but it doesn’t really fit a 1/4 inch shank and you can’t really use standard fighting’s at all so DO NOT LOSE THE ONES IT COMES WITH. Otherwise you’re doomed to a life of improperly fitting pieces or and regular universal mini chicks don’t fit on it of course. There are some chicks that have a shank to fit into whatever is powering it. If you get one of those and tighten it into the irregular sized pieces and fittings on this assembly then you can have your universal quick and easy change chuck and cheap hose attachment too.

Great for the money. It came apart the first time I used it, but the cable did not twist and I was able to put it back together with shrink tube. It fell apart again and will have to be modified to make it work.
