Hook is held to the attachment body via a single screw to allow it to rotate, and no-one even uses that feature. This causes the hook to chafe and become wobbly, eventually ripping right off despite the screw being tight with threadlocker. Works great short term, but you'll be replacing it every month.Only way to make this better would be to mod your own hole/screw to prevent it from rotating, and give it more stability. This is the same for most of these sold on amazon, if not all since they're all buying it from the same manufacturer and rebranding. Absolutely tragic design.Had these fail twice the exact same way on my as of writing this.Quick note, this hook opens upwards, which is pretty good. A lot of the others open inwards which is silly.

Due to an odd and bad design the hook is connected to the clamp by one single screw. The screw is cheap and made out of a cheap brittle alloy that doesn’t bend, it snaps. Going over some bumps on the scooter at 10mph with 2 grocery bags hanging off was too much for it. That screw snapped in half like it was nothing and I got to pick up all my broken groceries off the sidewalk.

Liked the two hook hanger until I tried this one. This has a fastener around the collar that's tightened. Would liked it to be supported by the screws like the two hook one. The latch once you push it in holds bags more securely. Holds a pickup order well and a small shoulder bag. So far its proving to be very useful.

The claw hook itself is great. It does the job. My only complain is that the bolt to afix the hook to the base seem to be too big. When installed the hanger part would be lose. I had to ad 2 washers to the bolt in order to tighten it to the base. And it's still a little lose. Other than that. The hanger itself is great!

I was so looking forward to this gadget but man, am I ever disappointed! The main screw that holds all the weight doesn't tighten. The part of the clamp that opens is flimsy as heck and makes noise when riding. Who the heck designed this gets an F. It could be great if they just made it one solid piece. Who needs it to rotate 360? Please redesign. I am returning this.

Hab’s an meinem gestern gekauften, nagelneuen e Scooter dran montiert dann fiel mir auf dass dieses Produkt einen Denk-/Produktionsfehler hat. Die mittlere Schraube ist zu lang beim montieren Bohrt sich die Schraube in die Lenker Stange rein und hinterlässt eine Hässliche Macke. Wie kann man sowas verkaufen ??!

the brackets it was packaged with was too small to fit the neck post of my scooter but I was able to attach directly to an accessory slot. The thing repeatedly becomes loose as the thing keeps rotating no matter what I do or how tight I screw (i even used different kidns of glues)

The "hinge" on the hook is a bit shabby in construction, truth be told.All in all, if you treat the hinge with "kid gloves" from day one, this will last many years as a carrying hook on my scooter. If not, for the price, I'll merely order another if this one breaks.Would, and considering this manufacturing flaw, most likely will buy again.EDIT: Here it is a little over 2 years after purchasing this hook, and despite the near constant abuse and daily use, this hook has turned out to be one of my most reliable modifications to my scooter.So much for my prior "shabby hinge" assessment.Purchase this unit with confidence.

Great accessory for electric scooters. Sturdy and can hold quite a bit of weight. Make sure to use threadlockers during install to make sure the screws don’t back out during ride.
