With just a little electrical knowledge it was easy to wire the ballast. I went from two ballasts powering two lights each to this ballast for four lights. Over the last two months the lights are steady.

First thought when fixture would not light was a bad switch(es). Then when I thought that 2 switches in two locations could not go bad at the same time it occurred to me that it might be the ballast. My light is over 8 years old so I ordered this EXACT replacement on Amazon. It worked like a charm. First I laid out both new and old ballasts side by side. One wire at a time I spliced an old wire with the corresponding new wire. I used "butt" connectors which made the job easier and less bulky than wire nuts. I stripped the old wires about 1" and lengthened the new wires ends to 1". I then bent the wire ends in two (doubled 'em) so that when I inserted the wire into connector there would be more wire to crimp and it would be less likely to fall out than just a single strand. Just go color for color and position for position and you should not have a problem. Fortunately my light fixture came with 2 wire plastic "hot" clip connectors. So I saved the old clip and spliced the new wire onto the old clip wire and then plugged it in. Good luck.

Regular market price but, it saves a trip to the store. It describes exactly how to wire it in in a simple diagram.

The wires were too short and everything had to be spliced. It would have been nice to know how long the wires were beforehand.

I wanted an exact duplicate of my failed ballast for ease of replacement, and that's exactly what I got. Quick ship, easy install (even for me), and works just fine.
