New motorcycles don't have helmet locks so this heavy duty lock lets you an lock up your helmet instead of carrying it around. It attaches to your handlebars and opens / closes with a key. It's a 2-pc construction. I like the fact that no one can get an Allen wrench in it to dismantle it unless it's open or no helmet is locked in it. Comes with 2 keys. Be sure to measure your handle bars to assure it will fit. Easy to install and easy to use. Excellent value and function.

It’s not amazing. But it’s not terrible. Seems pretty flimsy. The actual hole that the hook lock into has a lot of room. So I’m pretty sure if somebody gave it a good yank in one direction it could probably slip free of the latch and pop open. It also has more than enough room to slip something in there to shimy the lock open I’m sure. But I haven’t tested it. Over all I’m sure it’ll stop people who impulsively decide to try and snag your helmet. And that’s all I need. But I don’t think it’ll stop more motivated thieves
