Two of the plastic knobs separated from the internal nut with no pressure at all. This effectively made the knobs unusable.

Bought a roof rack for my jeep on Facebook that didn't have hardware. It was a cheap roof rack and didn't have the brand listed so I decided to get this generic hardware to secure the rack to my rails. The hardware was easy to use and held down the rack well. I have taken it offroading and crawling multiple times, strapped gear to my rack, tugged and pulled on it, and this hardware holds tights. The only thing I don't like about it is it sticks up on my rack so the hardware legs are visible above my rack. Doesn't affect function, just cosmetics.

I used these to mount my solar panels to my roof racks so I didn't have to drill. It's been a little over a year so far and I drive as fast as 75-80mph when I'm going cross country. Still haven't had any issues.

My girlfriend’s roof top box didn't have connectors for roof racks. Good thing Amazon had these at a great price, with the included directions i was able to get that box strapped and secured.

Looks good. Nice conception and well built. Not quick release.Not 4 inches, doesn’t fix my Thule Mountaineer.

These went right in after I modified my cargo box (to be expected as this box was built for another vehicle, steps below). The bolts are long in my WJ (2003 Grand Cherokee) as the cross bars are so thin. Not a big deal, just need to keep an eye on it to avoid damage to items, or I can cut the bolts down as needed. Better to have too much than not enough. The caps certainly won't stay on at present though.I bought this Thule made Volvo branded box in 2001. It had holes predrilled for 1.75 inches, so my 3.75 inch bars just wouldn't line up. I kept the leading hole (toward the front of the Jeep) in each of the 4 mounting locations , front and back for structural integrity and bored it out with a 1/4 inch drill bit, had to wiggle it a bit as the bolts are just a bit larger, but a tight fit keeps the most material in place. Then I marked and drilled out the back holes (toward the rear of the Jeep) in each of the 4 mounting locations.Took about 30 mins from box, to modification, to mounting, to ready to roll all in.Nice to be able to repurpose such an expensive item, keep this in mind if you can find a used (even off brand cargo box). I peeled off the Volvo logos easy enough and added Jeep stickers from Amazon.These held the cargo box right and tight during 80mph drive with 60+mph gusts of crosswind on a trip right though Wyoming. Couldn't be happier with the value in these. Should make my box fit the Minivan too.Good for making a car top box work (even if I had to alter the box). Nice job at the right price!
