Bought these for my 2024 F-150 with 20" wheels. Chains went on easily, and there was no need to move the truck while installing. Worked well on a short drive through some snow and ice. Only used once, so can't speak on durability, but they appear to be well-made.

This product is used for transferring the summer tire into anti slip snow tires.I am especially pleased on the easyness to install the chain to the tires, and it came with a bag for easy carry around. It's also very effective and built in good quality.Overall it's a great product.

I wish that the seller had provided a little pamphlet on these chains, incorporating the well done pictorial presentations in the Amazon listing. They were a great help to me, and I copied each to a .jpg file and printing the most important one, on how to hook up and remove the chains, oversize, filling a full page. These are nice chains and are easy to mount without jacking up the vehicle or driving over them as you do have to do with regular full tire chains. They're very well made of thick magnesium steel alloy with the links welded together. They are made for tires up to 275 mm wide, each strap-able chain has three individual chains fastened together to a heavy Thermoplastic Polyurethane. You have to place each spread out chain assembly on top of the tire, adjust the thermoplastic bottom down to the same place of overhang on the inside and the outside, then thread the nylon strap through the inside of the wheel to the outside wheel opening, going around the rotor. You then simply tighten with the ratchet strap until the chain is fully tight. This may be problematic with steel wheels, which are provided with base level pick-ups, and as the factory spares on some vehicles. This is not a problem at all on the factory alloy wheels. The steel wheel holes on Toyota spares are too small and too high on the inner wheel which causes the nylon strap to be pressed against the steel rim and would result in chewing it up. There is a less pronounced and lower inner rim on GMC steel wheels, which are sufficiently wide. Still, I would be careful in mounting the chains on those wheels and will probably use some gutter clamps from nylon straps of a roof rack.My tires for two pick-up trucks are LT265/70R16, , 265/70/R18, and mud and Snow rated tires LT275/70R18. These chains fit all three mounted tires, though the thermoplastic couplers are above the mid-line of the tire and nearer the top. I would prefer these chains in to be good for 285 or up to 315 mm, which are available but not necessarily of the same quality as these There are other strap-on designs available which use a cross diamond pattern and some which use cross bars. These chains are not "diamond-shaped cross chain" as stated in early in the bullet listing. Some other alternative I strap on chains have four parallel chains for each, some using up to four cleated cross chains to tie together the four parallel chains going across he wheel. I think that some of the brand names come from a common manufacturer. Several of those listed on Amazon come in the same heavy duty carrying bag, This product comes in a six pack. Most strap on chains come in 8 packs, using four strap chains per tire. The photos of this product in this Amazon listing all show either four or five strap chains per tire, and most show that the ends chains are very close to the wheel rim--farther down below where the tire bulges out. On one of my trucks, the rotor has an area which is difficult to push the strap in from behind, and get it out between the spokes That is what I believe the little plastic rod eye hook is designed for.Four photos are attached photos. The first shows the fit on a 10 ply 275/70R18, a bit oversize heavy duty mud and snow tires. The second and third show shows the fit on factory stock 10 ply 265/70R18 on alloy wheels. The last two show the fit on a 265/70/R16 Toyota Tacoma steel wheel, which would rub against the chain's strap; the fit is perfect for this tire on factory alloy wheels.Overall, these are a very nice set of well made and heavy duty chains. All strap chains would be subject to potential rubbing on the outside tire rim between the spokes on steel wheels. I would prefer an 8 pack of these, and a longer chain across the tire. With the $20.00 coupon, this set of chains at $69.99 is a good value for the money. However, I wish offered an 8 pack, or a separate two pack, so that four cross chains per tire would provide better traction.

I love them because they are easy to install especially in the cool weather. They also work as well as the traditional snow chains. Fit well for a Model Y

I just bought the IKON pass and went to Brian head ski resort, used this chain for the first time, it's a very solid snow chain, very easy to install for my honda suv, it took me only about 20 mintues to put on, and tried on the icy surface and it has great bite into the slick icy surface on my way to the snow mountain, great value and worth the money for the safty, much better than the snow tires. It's a big chian, works better for SUV and big cars in my personal opinon.

These snow tire chains are great! Installation was super quick and easy, and they fit my tires (BMW 430) perfectly. I had only one experience with them last weekend for snow boarding and they worked great. I would hoping the chains to provide excellent traction on icy and snowy roads but haven't got too much chance to try them on.
