My second purchase of this item. The first one withstood Hurricane Idalia (direct hit, Cat. 4) and the second one went toe-to toe with Ernesto. Both worked like a champ and never budged!Hint: Don't use the screws that come with it.. purchase galvanized or deck screws.

I bought a good number of outdoor weather shields for a Nest IQ Outdoor Cam, and this... wasn't it. It was a little flimsier, less well-made, and though in a pinch it might get the job done, it's certainly not my first choice.

This rain sheild is perfect for my needs. It is made of durable plastic material. It included screws and anchors. I used this to cover my exhaust fan in my shed. The fan has flaps that close when powered off, but rain was still finding its way in. This cover keeps the water from getting in. It would probably work great for cameras to keep the lens from getting wet and blurry or any other devices you want to keep dry.

I wanted to move my inside Ring Cam to outside because the reflection of the window was bad. Had a decent eaves over head but wanted additional protection from the elements. These shields did the trick. Not one single problem with the Stick Cams. I ran the power cord through the window seal, so no need to charge the battery.

The instal was easy, very durable and light , holds up to high winds and rain. We still have the snow season coming. I used to get the sun off my cameras so they won't over heat in the direct sunlight. I painted mine to match my wall. Highly recommend 👌
