This was cheaply made, the string portion of it broke instantly. It didn't fit my duty belt, you can probably fit just a standard under belt or leather belt, but not fit for duty. 0 out of 5 if possible.

Doesn't fit my duty belt. The product is wide enough for the belt but will not clasp closed at all. Its really ment for a standard day to day belt.

This concept of attaching a handy-talky to your belt is intriguing. It's designed for quick and easy use, and it fulfills its purpose. The elastic strap is beneficial in securing the radio and preventing it from bouncing as you move. However, this can hinder the speed of accessing the radio. It might be more advantageous to pair this with a remote microphone or an external earpiece.

I have more than one brand of radio with back clips and this works good to hold them at belt level. While you could clip the back clip directly to your belt it is a easier to remove your radio from this device than directly from your belt, especially if you wear your belt fairly snug.Time will tell as far as long term durability but it seems to be well made.
