Anyone who has ever traveled internationally understands the frustration of attempting to charge electronic equipment, only to find that the destination country has a plug which is shaped completely differently from the home country. In particular, I travel to the UK frequently, and an adapter is needed to charge my many peripherals: my iPad, laptop, Kindle, Samsung Galaxy phone and Bose Bluetooth speaker.This type of adapter - and there are many on the market - neatly solves that issue. This Tecsi adapter has all the prongs for the major regions of the world, not just Europe. It can often be confusing to travelers that while the UK is part of Europe, it uses a different adapter than is commonly found in the rest of that continent. This has the UK-specific adapter. In addition, this adapter has two USB-C and two USB-A ports, which is exactly the right combination, as virtually all small electronic devices charge through each of those ports. Additionally, it is fused.Importantly, it is not a voltage converter. Voltage conversion plays a role only with devices that draw lots of power - typically devices that generate heat - such as hairdryers and portable microwaves. But for everyday electronic devices, including the ones I previously described, I have never needed to convert voltage. I merely needed an adapter such as this one to be able to plug in and charge my device.

This adapter works for most countries, but not for Australia or any other countries that need that type of outlet.It is small fits in the palm of your hand. It is a little thick. It will do when I’m traveling throughout Europe and Japan. However, I will have to buy another for when I travel to Australia.
