My old cables lasted a little over a year and I replaced them with these in OCT. After one weekend trip then sitting for 2 months they are heavily corroded and jamming. The cables hang over my sailboat transom and can get submerged in swells but I hose the boat off with fresh water after each trip. I'll coat the next set of cables in grease but will try a different supplier.

I bought these with ultraflex b49 to convert my tiller handle to a stick steer. These cables do not fit into the ultraflex b49 box
