This is my second purchase of this type file folder and this is the only type I intend to purchase from here on out. Having worked in offices with files for many many years, I worked with the 3 position folders. If you try to keep things in some sort of order you can not always count on the next tab being in the right position - left, middle, right. So many times a file is overlooked because it wasn't in the same sequence of position. This can cause a "snowball" effect when filing or pulling. With the straight cut there is not a problem with position - they are all the same. Now I don't have that many files but I still like the way it works. AND the little tabs don't get worn out or torn off - another plus!
