I will append if all doesn't go well. The bone nut is quite weak for use with 12-strings because it often splits between the close pairs. It should be Tusq, Torlon or PEEK.

Installed the unslotted nut so I could set the string spacing a little wider to accommodate my wide fingers, worked very well. I have the zero glides on all my guitars now.

Only reason I ordered this is because the original Zero Glide I ordered (from another vendor) was not the correct string spacing for my guitar. I ordered a blank so it could be cut properly for my exact guitar. As I don't have the specific nut files to slot the blank nut, I sent out my guitar to a reputable shop for cutting the blank and installing the nut. Once the guitar was done, the nut was too low on the high E sting and was buzzing on open notes. My brand new "drop in" nut needed to be shimmed. I had zero buzz issues with the original nut so I'm not impressed after having buzzing issues after having a professional install a "drop in" nut. It's been shimmed and I don't have any problems at this time. It does what it is supposed to do once installed correctly and I do have improved tuning and better open string tone. It is a little misleading when the advertisements pitch it as a "drop in replacement for $30". My now finished and stable guitar upgrade has easily cost me at least 3 times that.
