Das Dragonfly Hotend BMO bietet exzellente Druckqualität und Zuverlässigkeit. Die Installation ist einfach und die Ergebnisse sind beeindruckend, mit präzisen und gleichmäßigen Schichten. Wichtig zu beachten ist, dass keine Heizpatrone oder Temperatursensor mitgeliefert wird, sodass diese separat erworben werden müssen. Insgesamt ein hochwertiges Hotend, das die Druckergebnisse erheblich verbessert, aber auf die zusätzlichen Komponenten sollte geachtet werden.

Aaron H left a 3 star review because he bought the product with incorrect expectations - that's lame!These are AWESOME! The quality of the product is top notch. My print farm runs 35 Prusas so I'm very familiar with E3d V6's and those are like a Honda and these are a Benz. Even the unboxing experience was well thought out. These are my new goto hotends without a doubt

Montato in coppia con un estrusore orbiter 2.0, funziona perfettamente ed ha dato una marcia in più alla mia vecchia stampante. Opportunamente raffreddato, garantisce un buon isolamento termico.

I replaces a V6 clone on my Sovol SV01 with this hotend. While it is advertised as a direct swap, that's not exactly true because this hotend is slightly shorter. So, you might find that the fans/part coolers on your printer do not fit the Dragonfly and will need alteration. That was the case for me, especially because the clone I was using did not use V6 nozzles (no fault of the Dragonfly, obviously). So just keep in mind, you might not be able to just drop this in without any other changes. It is a slightly different form factor.Anyway, totally worth the effort. I have had maybe 2 clogs with this since I started printing with it months ago. I have run PLA, PLA+, PETG, and Polycarbonate through it without issue. I have not seen any heat creep, but I also use a 40mmx20mm heatsink fan. This thing is super reliable, and because it is all metal you don't have to worry about the PTFE melting.The only issue I did have with it is, they pre-install the PTFE clip on the top, and attempting to remove it actually caused it to break off. So now I have PTFE tubing installed that I can't get out when the time comes to replace it (which will be some day hopefully long from today, since it is not near the heated nozzle). So don't be dumb like me and insert the PTFE into the top before you remove that clip completely, if you want to remove the tube again. Once it is in there, it's in there for good.

I have used this hot end on my Chiron for three prints. the first two were approximately 30hrs each & came out perfect. The third one didn't finish & this is what the hot end looked like when i took the heat sock off.The filament has oozed out everywhere between the heater block & the cooling fins. from all the hype in their promotional material I had high hopes for this hot end & am sorely disappointed. The melted filament is so bad I don't even think it can be taken apart to try to see what happened.See the attached pictures.Needless to say I dont recommend this hot end at all.

i have used e3d hotends and Misquito hotends, but i have to admit i like this one better, not saying it's better than the others, but. i prefer it

First the good, well packaged. Does what it should, smooth, pretty, well cut block.The bad - sabotage... This unit, rated for 500C comes with a thermal grease GD900 which is rated only for 200C, you are told to use in the instructions. This product is not to be used for hot ends!Luckily I did my homework BEFORE installing and setting. Consider also buying something like Boron Nitride Paste which is rated for >900C.I hope the manufacturer takes this into consideration and provides an alternative. Otherwise seems a great product.
