So I loved this valet tray before I even got it out of the box. I'm a sucker for presentation and attention to detail and this tray is made for high end gifting as soon as you pop the lid.The tray itself is exactly the build and material that I was looking for to match my existing wooden situation. The combination of matte black edging and saturated walnut looks like it was customer created for my desk. The aluminum trim is minimal, modern and industrial. Smooth finish with no rough spots that could snag sleeves or nylon wallets. The wood staining is rich, but not so dark that it won't work with lighter furniture. Four tiny felt pads underneath will protect the metal base from scratching your desk or nightstand.The valet is larger than many of the versions you find at the mall, but still has a small enough footprint to not overtake the surface. There are a good variety of sizes in the dividers, so you'll certainly find the right spot for all your stuff. My only callout would be that I wish the valet was a tiny bit deeper. Not a deal breaker, but a slightly higher divider would help out anyone who tends to toss their keys from a distance.This valet is still sharp looking and makes all my clutter feel kind of luxurious. Totally recommend. A++

I like to stay organized and this type of tray is perfect for everyday odds and ends.In my view, it has a look of luxury: The frame is metal and painted matte black. The sides and the dividers are made of what's described as "reclaimed walnut." The wood is finished very nicely and the frame is held together with Phillips head screws. It's extremely solid and has some heft to it. The underside has a low-profile cushion in each corner to prevent it from sliding around as well prevent damaging whatever surface it's placed on. The inside is lined with what's described as velvet; not sure what it actually is, but it's soft and would ensure that whatever is placed in the tray won't get scratched. There's nothing cheap about the materials, the workmanship, or the appearance.This would work very well for phones, eyeglasses, a wallet, or keys.It comes in an attractive box, which would make this an excellent gift.Good-looking and useful tray: Highly recommended.

This valet organizer is a bit larger than I thought it would be, yet not as deep as I would have hoped for. Much of it is metal, but it does have 4 round felt type things on the bottom to protect your wood as the bottom is all metal. The dividers are walnut colored wood. I have no idea if itsreal walnut. There is a thin felt material in the divided areas on top. All in all, it does look manly and like it will work well on my husband's side of the bed.

If you own the Balolo Setup Cockpit and have the large tray, this will fit below the large tray with 4" to spare (left to right). It's too deep to fit in the tray; it will stick out the front by about 2 inches. On the desk (below the tray) it hangs about 1" past the tray, but you can't see it because it's in the back.The walnut is a good match. Quality is decent. The felt is cheap, but I guess I can upgrade it on my own, or ignore it. My Balolo is magnetic so it's probably steel. But this product isn't magnetic, so it's probably aluminum.Improvements: It's an obvious rip on the Balolo equipment and they should have done a better job on the sizing to make it more versatile. At 2.5" less deep, 1" less wide, and .25" less tall would allow it to fit in the tray and still allow one of their smaller drawers to fit next to it.Verdict: It looks pretty good and is 1/5 the price of the Balolo drawer and has free shipping. I'm happy with it.

I have purchased multiple desk accessories from Uppergo, and I truly don't understand how they do it. The design and craftsmanship are impeccable -- truly modern and beautiful designs, and well-made. Yet, the prices are incredibly reasonable. When you compare their stuff to some other wooden desk accessory makers, you realize just how overpriced those other are. I am a real fan of Uppergo, and I wish they would expand their portfolio. A great company with great products.

This valet tray exceeded my expectations in both looks and functionality. The build quality is excellent—solid walnut wood paired with a sleek black aluminum frame gives it a high-end, modern vibe that easily fits into any room decor. I’m currently using it near my TV console to store small essentials like batteries, cables, and remotes, and it’s made a big difference in reducing clutter. Expensive, but worth it. The black colored metal to the rustic look, it comes together and sits on top of your desk with all your days edc.This item keeps me organized and classy. The tray is durable and sturdy. If it unfortunately falls off your desk (which it shouldn't) it would still look like new. Great size and good quality, you get what you paid for and is well worth it.

Very well made and very handy desk catch all for me. I have it at the end of my desk and when i come home, thats where I put my keys, wallet, wedding ring and my watch.Its not very bulky and stands at maybe an inch+ high. Has a velvet like interior lining so things dont get scratched. Also has some rubber feet to keep it from moving around along with keeping it stable. It also feels very sturdy and of high quality.For something as simple as a Valet Tray, it really does shine.
