Light panel has touch on/off, brightness and color temperature. The included remote control allows you to control all of the above, as well as select one of eight RGB colors for the acrylic border of the light. The main light can be dimmed, the colored lights around it cannot.Installation is easy, you do not even have to worry about polarity, just connect them to power and you are in business.The mounting hardware is included, and includes screw covers.Appearance wise, the crosshatch pattern on the clear acrylic acts as a light-pipe directing the colors out. The on/off touch button has a blue light on all the time, which may bother some people.All in all, this thin, well-built light should fit in well with many campers. Stargazers may appreciate using the colored lights to preserve their night vision.

5 days in to having them on decided it's not going to turn off went half green and half orange and stayed like that, another thing I don't like it the blue press button blue light also says on all the time. Bad product for the price

Wasn't sure what to think of this based on the listing, but it does everything as claimed and looks good doing it.You don't have to worry about which wire is positive, which is negative because, unlike some other RV lights, this unit can work no matter which wire is connected to which lead. The button on the surface works the main light giving you warm to cold levels of white and you can dim it via that button. The colored lights around the outside edges are only controlled by the remote and they work fine, not sure how often I will use those but you never know - sort of entertaining.The light will work with a wall switch - leave the light in an on position and kill power to the light and when power is restored, the light will come back on. That was important to me for the position where I wanted the light to go.The center (white) light gets plenty bright so you can use this as a ceiling light for a whole room and it does pretty well.I only got one but I like it well enough that I might get one or two more.Edit - the light seems to have burned itself out after very little use. It was warm to the touch and I grew concerned that my output was far exceeding 12v -so I checked and my multimeter says 13.25, which is certainly within the range of expected voltages that will be output by an RV power converter. It was happy on battery power, which was producing around 12.8v, but when I plugged into AC at home the light got overwhelmed.It is too bad because I liked the look of the light and the functionality. Back to the old fashioned fixture. I don't know if I just had some bad luck, or if my converter might have even put out a spike at some point, but this light is a goner.

Since these will be run from 12V batteries, the most important aspect was that they don't draw too much power and provide ample light. They do tick those boxes. At a little over $40, they're not the least expensive lighting solution, but these lights are quite a bit better than others we've been using. The plexiglass is nicely routed and look very nice with the lights off. When they're on, the grooves catch the light and are pretty stunning. One of the settings on the remote is for a pattern where the color changes and rotates around the panel and it's tough to describe how the light plays on the edge of the plexiglass, other than just saying it's "super cool." For the folks interested in tech specs, these lights each draw .86A at full brightness, and when just running the low lighting through the plexiglass it's just .12A (mostly mood lighting). That was at 12.6VDC, so figure around a high of around 11W and a low of roughly 1.5W, with lots of variability between with the different patterns and brightness settings. The remote works great. The wires on the light are quite short, which isn't a big deal if you're replacing an existing 12V light. For a new install, keep this info in mind. Very pleased with this products.
