Fit perfect on my new black version Pittsburgh Harbor Freight manual tire changer. Seems like these have been updated, no seam inside the pipes, stronger welds where the screw handles go and they repositioned one of the handles so it doesn't hit the frame when screwing it down. Great value for the price.

Makes tyre changing so much easier. When i got my manual tyre changer i was alway looking online for an easier way to use it. finally after a few years I found this addition. I love it. Works like a charm

I should’ve stuck to my usual of buying the more expensive option.I found that the arm (boom?) kept me from being able to lift the tire high enough to reach the rear bead with the tire iron. These are 235/45-19. Nothing special or wide. I added piece of pipe as a spacer to raise this tool and make room to lift the tire high enough. Then the securing nut broke off. Are you kidding me?! If you look at the pic, you can see there’s no penetration on the welds.I give up. Off to the tire shop tomorrow with a half dismounted tire to ask if they will kindly finish the dismount.

Used it to dismount and remount ATV tires off a Polaris 570. Need to get the hang of it, than it works like a charm. I have a princess auto manual tire changed. Need to have a proper low profile, flat bead lifting tool. I used one that was too large and round, and couldn't clear the duckhead. Ended up using a long flat head screw driver to pull the bead over the duckhead. Don't be cheap like me, get the proper bead lifting spoon. Otherwise did 4 wheels without a problem. Only issue i have with this product on the vertical post. The weld bead is aggressive and digs into the paint on the vertical post of the manual tire changed. Will need to be filed down and some bushings made. But that just me nit picking and makes no difference for how the product performs.

I had seen some bad reviews on some of these but decided to give it a try anyway. Glad I did. I had zero issues installing tires. It fits the Pittsburgh tire changer perfect. The locking bolts did not break off and their orientation is at the correct angle now. As of 02/17/25, they've fixed the product. There's no welding inside the tubing and the bolts seem to be welded better now. Worth every penny!

I used this with the Pittsburgh Manual tire changer I purchased at HF. It fit great with this unit. I changed out the other two tires on a Honda fit sport and this made the job way easier and protects the rims way better than using only the tire bar that came with the original tire changer. I think this set up will pay for itself in no time. I’ve used the manual tire changer and the manual tire balancer now on changing out two sets of tires ( 08 Honda fit and 2022 subaru Impreza). I also needed to remove the tires to replace the tpms sensors in the 08 Fit. This addition to the setup made it way, way easier. I also think it is well made. Welds all looked great, well painted and I had no issues at all with using the product. I will update if something comes up. I would definitely watch a few videos on how to use this. Without the videos I would have probably used incorrectly. I also purchased a tire lube (Murphys) that has worked great. I did purchase the cone to center the tire, some of these are sold with it or you’ll see them in the diy videos).

For the price i can't complain, if any of the welds don't hold up when I use it I'll just reweld them. And for the ones complaining about the adjustment screw knobs not being able to make a full turn, don't know about theirs but mine came with spring loaded knows, so work like a ratchet.

Absolutely a game changer to a manual tire changer . So much easier to dismount and mount tires. You may have to sand down the paint on tire changer tube in case it was too thick but other wise fit fine .

The rim contact side of the duckhead has raised ridges to protect the rims from making contact with the bolts, where one of those ridges was not fully formed, leaving it too shallow, as though the injection mold did not have enough nylon plastic to fill out the mold. So, to avoid scratched rims, I recessed the head of the bolts into the nylon plastic, to teraform it by heating the head of the bolts. With that modification, now there is no concern of scratching the finish on my alloy rims. This version duplicates the location of the hold down shaft bolts to the side (like Lucid's) so there is no longer interference with the vertical adjustment pipe. There is interferece with using a tire iron pry bar, to pull the edge of the tire up onto the Duckhead, where that lock down bolt on the side has to be removed to press the pry down level to the face of the rim, as that lockdown bolt an dprotruding handle block a pry bar. A noticeable problem is that the Welds of both nuts for the lock down shaft bolts have a welders blow thru hole on one, and each nut has only 3 small tack welds and there was weld splatter. For those reasons, it gets only 3 Stars. The paint on the round spin pipe was rough and you can see through the paint. If only someone cared about the quality of work they do, I can see this being an easy 5 stars, but they didn't.

The support that allows for horizontal and vertical adjustments have adjustment handles, these need to be offset from each other. If not the the handle can't fully turn as the bar is in the way.Although still functional, for the price paid this should have been caught before shipping. Makes me wonder if Amazon is selling items that don't pass inspections. Disappointed in this products quality.

This item should cost less. Fabrication is pretty basic, anyone could make one at home. This attachement is more expensive than the machine it fits on!
