Good pad. But if you use mesh style sanding discs, get a pad saver too. Its a thin layer of hook and loop that goes on the pad. The Mesh disks like to move and over time rip the fine loops of. Standard paper discs don’t do that.

I love the firm / hard sponge but have used it not as much as I’d like to and the Velcro is not sticking like it should so I’m going thru more sandpaper than necessary

Bought these replacement pads for my Festool sander. Both are completely useless as my sandpaper will not stay hooked to the pad and constantly getting way off center. I had my original Festool pad for almost two years and it works better than these. I have now ordered the OEM Festool pad and sand paper is staying in place. Don’t try to save a few dollars by buying these pads!

Soft pad not really soft as original pads from Festool not same thickness too, also missing center bolt otherwise it will work ! Hard pad looks good
