I picked this up to have an extra layer to prevent unwanted sound. This was a little small for my mic, but I was able to get the two extra rubber bands and tie them together to increase the length. It now sits on my microphone just fine. The filter layer is easy to see and is more than just a mesh screen. I like how there is a padding to this one than another I've had in the past. This is definitely made for smaller mics, but you may be able to gett away with slightly medium size ones if you do the same trick I did.

This pop filter works great, and the price is great, but you may need to do a little DIY. I have an Apollo Sphere and an AEA R84 mic, and this pop filter would work fine but for how tight the bands are. I just take the band off and use a regular rubber band that I had lying around. All this thing needs to do is site on the mic between it and your face. I like using this so much more than the gooseneck versions, where I'd usually have to set up a separate mic stand to get it to be in a good spot.Overall, it works. That's what's important. The price is something even the novice can be excited about. I just wish it came with different-sized bands because for the mics I have, these are way too tight to use.
