Product arrived on time but the ad seemed to cause me to believe this was a small bottle of oil.If you are looking for just the bottle, this looks like a fine product. I am not going to return it because it looks quit handy and will probably save $ on oil spillage.

This bike chain oiler is unique and works very well. However, it depends on the lubricant you use. I use an aerosol type so I actually had to buy a new type for it to work properly. I could of emptied the can but I wasn't sure.For application, the swivel locking head attachment is smart, and it works to distribute oil into the sponge. It comes with 3 total, and are single use so I recommend using this sponge for as many bikes at a time to prevent waste.Otherwise, its a simple design and works as expected. Finding the right lube (and removing the old lube) was the biggest annoyance but its fine.

Keep in mind this product is just an empty plastic bottle with a innovative cap. No lubricant is shipped with this product.The product does a good job of applying lubricant evenly to a bike chain. This also is a lot easier and cleaner than applying lube to a chain with your hands. The plastic bottle is pretty cheaply made. Despite the usefulness of the product, $16 for an empty plastic bottle is a bit outrageous. This item should cost like $2.

This little gadget works great. I use finish line, dry bike lubricant and dish. This little gadget spreads it on nicely. It goes on much more even than what. I just try to use the bottle that the finish line dry lubricant comes in. I wind up having to use a towel to wipe the chain down. This lubricant applies it much more evenly.

Warum und wofür, Beschreibung: Kettenöler für Zweiradketten; von der Breite her auch passend für manch motorisiertes Zweirad. Geliefert wird nur das Plastikfläschchen mit dem Schwammaufsatz, das man durch ausdrücken des Öl benetzt und das mit dem vorn liegenden Schwämmchen über die zu ölende Kette führt. Das funktioniert soweit ganz gut. Die so angepriesenen Vorzüge kann ich aber nicht bestätigen. Tropfen geht bei Übersättigung trotzdem, und für den öligen Aufsatz gibt es keine Abdeckung, was beim normalen herumstehen zu Verstaubung führt. Für die Flasche gibt es einen Schraubdeckel; aber wohin dann mit der Spitze. Ich persönlich halte das Ding für maßlos überteuert, und sehe keine wirklichen Vorteile für das ölen der Kette, im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen, oder anderen Methoden! Für mich wirkt das Produkt irgendwie unausgereift und nicht zu Ende gedacht. Schade. This bike chain oil applicator is a good idea. I consists of a small bottle that you fill with oil and an applicator on the top. A small fibre pad fits into the applicator and when upside down and the bottle is squeezed this soaks with oil. You rub the chain with it and the oil is transferred to the chain. It prevents a lot of the dripping oil you get when applying oil the usual way.The applicator hinges down and seals the bottle so oil does not seep out when not in use.My only issue with this is you only get three of the small fibre pads which wear out after a few uses due to be rubbed along the chain. I can’t find anywhere that supplied extra pads so once the three supplied pads are used up you just have a traditional oil bottle applicator. I have removed two stars for this because in my opinion it is a major flaw to an otherwise excellent idea. Why not have packs of replacement pads for sale?
