Unsure of the part number? Follow these steps to identify your filter by measurement:
Outer Diameter: Measure across the widest point (accuracy: ±1/16" for 7" or smaller).
Length: Measure from end to end, excluding handles/extensions (accuracy: ±1/16" for 26" or shorter).
Inner Diameter: Measure the top and bottom openings (accuracy: ±1/16" for 3" or smaller).
Openings: Note whether the top and bottom are open.
Center Core: Check for a center structure (e.g., PVC pipe).

These replacement cartridges for our Pentair Clean and Clear 420 system fit very well. I'm excited to see the water looking clear again after replacing our old cartridges. These cartridges are a great value compared to the name brand, and are less expensive than other generic brands we've tried. They look well-built but there's no way to know how they'll fare after several years. If they have as long a life as other ones we've used, I'll definitely reorder them because they are an excellent value.

So far these are great! The last set of filters I bought on amazon were cheap and ended up causing more problems. These filters brought my pool back to perfectly clean. Better filters and support ribs inside the filter so they don’t collapse on themselves.
