Love and hate the fabric used to keep this all together. Theyre well put together and none of the stitching is terribly done. Setting this up is very easy, just marry the foam tubes with the plastic sleeves and then shove them into the clothe pocket thing. Done. If its too long, just cut it down to size. Now, it does its job wonderfully! The seal isolates and repels both air and noise. My room is a lot quieter with these.Gotta say, these do wonders. If ya need yaself an easy way to dampen noise from your rooms, this is one way to go about it.

This door gap blocker works great. It's easy to assemble. It came with several foam rollers that are placed inside of a very soft cover system. The foam pieces can be cut to match the correct size to your door. It slides nice and easy on a carpet and doesn't look bad at all. I ordered the black. Even black looks nice against a white door with gray carpet. I supposed the foam rollers themselves could be a little smaller in diameter so they aren't as big of bubbles on each side of the door but they function great. No complaints. I don't use it to block airflow so I can't really comment on that. I use it to block unwanted critters to which it works great for that. I recommend.

We have a large one-inch gap under the door that leads to our basement. We have tried various products to stop the air flow from this door. Any product that uses sticky sealing tape, or Velcro, seems to be a mistake. Usually the door won’t open easily, the tape wears out and then you are left with stuff stuck to the door. This washable flannel fabric draft stopper is great. The foam rollers on each side of the door really seal out drafts, and the door still moves normally. The elastic material on the ends keeps the draft stopper from sliding sideways, which has been a problem with other products we have used. The floor under our door is tile, and this draft stopper slides easily over it. This is the best door draft stopper design we have found. It seems pretty sturdy and should last a few years.

There is a decent size gap under my daughter's door and she has been complaining about the noise and light. She has low carpet and a lot of these types don't work with carpet. I was hoping that the silkiness of this would still work and it did. It makes the door a little harder to close, but that just means she can't slam it when she's a moody teenager. Haha. I had to cut it just a little shorter to fit her door, which was really easy. It slid underneath the door easy enough and stays in place with the two elastic bands. She says it helps with the light, but not sure about the noise. So, far it has held up well and I hope that the seams hold for a lot longer.

This is a very creative yet simple way to fill larger gaps below a standard door in your home. It arrives as a box with 4 foam cylinders, 2 simple plastic couplers for the cylinders, and the sewn, felt-like fabric piece itself. You measure your doorway and trim the cylinders to fit (two go end-to-end inside side of the door, two for the outside). The cylinders easily slide into the fabric shell, and then you slide the unit under your door and pull the elastics up on each end to set it in place. My only criticism is minor: One picture on the product page, a simple cross-sectional diagram, makes it look like the cylinders are much smaller-diameter and with a semi-triangular cross-section. Keep in mind each is a foam cylinder with a 2" diameter.

We replaced a one-sided stationary draft stop on my daughters bedroom door with this double-sided one that moves with the door. The advantage is that it clears the doorway (even though my muscle memory still has me stepping over a stationary one that is no longer there!), the disadvantage is you cant have even a low mat by the door as it wont clear it. Other than that, this is very easy to cut-to-size using scissors, bread knife or fine tooth saw and put together for installation. At 1-3/4", my door gap is larger than the size range indicated, but it still works with the height of the foam. It slides over the bottom of the door easily and takes about a day to settle in with opening and closing, but for my installation, I ended up going back in and cutting the foam on the outside of the door a little bit shorter to clear the abutting door jam stop more easily. Also, to keep it in place away from door stop on the latch side and more secure to the door in general (especially given my bigger out of spec gap), I used a flat metal tack to secure the elastic to the bottom of the door. This works very well. Now, I just have to learn to stop stepping over the old stationary one that isn't there any longer!

Worked perfectly for me! Blocks light, air, dust in the installed area. Fabric is shiny polyester. The cover has easy slits for the filler.Easy install/ I washed and dried the cover first, then filled with foam cylinders, slid under the door and applied the holding straps. Done!Had already measured prior, and seemed I would be an inch or so short as the stopper length was 35” max. Good for me I was able to stretch to 36” and make it work. YeehawDef sweeps, keep in mind since it’s not adhesive and stretches on, it’s also squeezing your door a bit and may affect the performance or position, based on the type of door this is for.My situation is a good example: I stretched 1inch approx, which will squeeze more than if you stretch only 1/4 inch, and I can see that squeeze pulling the door away from the frame, not a crazy amount but noticeable to the keen eye.

Works perfectly! I was able to adjust the size of one side that needed to be shorter due to the door jamb, while keeping the backside the full length of the door. Looks much better than the robe or towel we were using to block the draft from the sump pump room that is inside the basement bathroom.
