Great starter kit for the person learning about electricity and electronics with guidance. Many many small projects and investigations/labs possible, using other sources for ideas (no lab book included)Recommend the buyer have a way to store all the parts, like an old tackle box, because there is such a great variety of components included....it is no fun to have to sort thru them all, even though that's a great way to learn how the color codes, etc work!

Everything you need to start experimenting with electronics. The component selection is basic, but enough to get going with. You will certainly need to add a larger variety of components as you progress, but this is enough to build some basic circuits.

Gave this 4 stars because everything was in the box that was advertised and the parts mostly seemed like good quality. The biggest issue was the breadboard. I don't know if it was just a bad one or if it was cheaply made but there isn't really a truly flat surface on mine. All the holes still work so not a huge deal for me since I was primarily wanting the power supply for the breadboard and all the little bits n wires. Everything was nicely crammed into the box which was also satisfying since it was so neatly done.
