I purchased a used car (private sale). Changing the license plates was difficult as the screws were rusty. I got these replacements, and they work as intended. They are advertised as 'rustproof finish' - we shall see.

This is about "Upgraded License Plate Screws with Nylon Retainers, License Plate Screw Kit for Front & Rear Plates, #14 x 3/4" Slotted Hex Head License Plate Bolts with Rustproof Finish for Domestic Vehicles【8 Pack】" by JMREOIMSNot much to say here: they are license plate screws + retainers. The screws are black (3/8" hex by 3/4" long), the retainers are thick and robust (they look like nylon) and fit snuggly in the square holes of my car (Honda assembled in Indiana). I got them to replace the OEM silver-colored screws (car is black, plate frame is black, screws were silver, messing around with my OCD). They are priced at $6 (a tad cheaper than OEM from the dealership). The screw thread is thicker than the OEM screws, so I had to remove and replace the OEM retainers of the car.If the price is right, go for them, they are what they look like in the listing.
