The "Upgraded" MDS47123619 Washer Door Gasket is no where near the thickness of the OEM door gasket. I'm not sure what is considered "upgraded". Maybe the lower price is considered an "upgrade" as opposed to the double OEM price. I returned the Upgraded MDS47123619 Washer Door Gasket and ordered an OEM part. It wasn't too difficult to intall but you will have to take quite a bit of the machine apart and I didn't want to do that a year from now because of the thinner gasket material.

Does not fit LG WM3500CW. It is missing the little drain hose. It has a hole where the hose would be, but it stops short and cannot be connected to the washer.Edit/addition: It can be installed on the WM3500CW, but the drain needs to be plugged on the new gasket and where it connects to on the washer itself. Local appliance repair shop said he's done the same thing and it'll work fine. It does work fine, but water now pools at the bottom of the gasket and remains there until I clean it up myself.To the manufacturer who'll never read this: if you want this to be properly compatible with all the listed models, include the length of hose and some instructions to cut it short on units that don't require it.

This Door gasket is about 1/2" too large in circumference to fit an LG WM2140CW properly. It might appear a bargain but it is just cheap. Spend the extra money and get a good quality one that actually fits. 4 hours of my life wasted.

Be sure to watch a video or two before installing. For me, it was easier to take the entire front of the washing machine off and install it instead of going in through the door. But this product is cheaper than the $200+ LG part, and if you can figure out how to install it, you save paying a handyman $200+ to do it for you. You will need a special tool to get the springs off of the boot seal, which doesn't come with this.

This looks identical to the original. Every drain hole, ridge, etc. all line up. Coloring even looks the same. This is what you want in a replacement part!

Using a YouTube video we installed this new liner. Although it’s a bit tedious, it was well worth it versus paying hundreds of dollars to the derive company to do it. Perfect fit, doesn’t have any sort of plastic odour, and I no longer have to worry about that gross mould build up.

The quality of this product compared to the factory seal that needed replaced was a much thinner, almost more flimsy feeling. When removing the factory seal, the gasket kept its shape for the most part, but this product kept folding over when trying to maneuver it into place. all the specifications were correct as far as fitment and placement for components to and from the gasket, and it hasn't failed yet, fingers crossed..
