We had purchased another brand of this because it didn't spin when you set it on the carpet or whatever you were vacuuming. Sent it back and ordered this one, and to our disappointment, this brand didn't work either. Total bummer! We called the vacuum manufacturer to see if we could get a factory one from them and they are out of stock. :(

Proper replacement, although Bissell should’ve replaced it for free the one that came with the vacuum had plastic teeth very cheap started breaking almost immediately. The new part is a proper brush. I’m giving it five stars right now. We’ll see how long it lasts.

This attachment works so much better than the original that came with the vacuum. The original attachment destroyed itself and flew apart within weeks. This one is better made and does a splendid job on pet hair and paw prints. Very happy!

I purchased the Bissell CleanView for pet hair (malamutes are no joke!), and the attachment that came with it had plastic fins on the beater bar and it worked fabulously! And then the fins started to snap off. I looked for that same replacement but couldn't find it and (in my desperation) got this one.Used on the Bissell it is less than effective. Too much pressure and the beater bar stops. (Did I mention malamutes?) Terribly disappointed, I sat down and pouted and spotted my ShopVac across the living room (I mentioned malamutes, ya? ShopVac for the win!)Anyhoo - with a stroke of genius, I tried to attach this thing to the ShopVac hose. No luck. Pouting again, I eyeballed a section of tube. Then attached this to that! Tight, but it fits! OFF TO THE RACES!This little tool + ShopVac high-power suction, and we have a malamute-proof upholstery vacuum!
