I ordered this after measuring between the holes and it was too small. So when ordering for a RV door, be sure you get the right measurements, that said, the door lock was very standard factory quality. Keys worked and fit perfectly. A good sturdy door lock.

Disclaimer: My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions and if I don't like the description, I simply don't order the item. If the product shows up as advertised they get a 5. If there are unadvertised flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly.... that being said: This door lock gets 5 stars. This is really well made. Nice heavy duty and nice powder coat finish. What I ABSOLUTELY LOVE is that this comes with 4 IDENTICAL keys. Both locks use the same key, which is super important to me as a convenience! The locking mechanism is nice, smooth, and tight. Installation took about 3-5 minutes and now my trailer door handle is secure again. I really like that I can lock either the deadbolt, the handle, both, or neither. It looks great and I am extremely happy with this great product!

I acquired this to install in a trailer side access door that did not have one.Here are my thoughts:The assembly arrived quickly and was well packaged, however the entirety of the contents was loose inside the bag it was put in.It includes everything one would need to install into an existing hole, but no instructions or anything for installing in a door that was not already prepared for this type of latch system. No worries, I am a glutton for punishment!The installation process was brutally slow, measured twice, cut once ordeal.Turns out it was better to remove the door entirely from the trailer and do the deed, then try to do it on the trailer. Lesson learned.(Note: for some reason the review would not be approved with the finished install pictures/video included.)Overall, this is a deal. It is all metal, is solid and locks down FIRMLY.Recommend, just wish they included a template or some sort of guide for a new install.

Why did we wait so long to replace our RV door handle/lock???? We were having so much trouble opening the door - our kids often couldn't even get into the RV. We thought this was a more complicated fix but it was so easy. Allows us in and out without having to slam the door.

I replaced the lock on my camper with this door lock system. It was easy to install, fit perfectly, and is made of quality components. I like having the extra keys, one for me, one for my husband, one in the tow vehicle, and one at home. I can recommend this.

My camper lock needed replacement so I tried this out to see if it was a good option and it in fact is! It comes with everything you need to install it except you will need a screwdriver or a drill to secure the four screws needed to hold it together.It was easy to install I only had to take the old one out and put this one in its place. Once the four screws are tightened up you’ll want to test out the deadbolt lock and make sure it’s moving in and out where it should be. Then you’re all set. Super easy to do and the keys work perfectly. They turn almost effortlessly. It’s also a secure lock it held tight and it would be really hard to break because it’s we built. No one is getting in there without the key. That’s piece of mind to me!If you want to replace the locks in your camper then let me recommend you try this one for its ease of use and durability.
