Not quite sure what's upgraded about these. The stitching and overall material feels like thin canvas. I would not expect any reasonably heavy item to actually be carried in the bag without the feeling of parts of it ripping. In fact, my set had stitching that was already coming apart due to the poor quality in stitching. Also beware that whatever you put in the bag as the weight MUST have its own container/bag. You can't just dump stuff in this. It will spill out.It seems like it would work fine otherwise as a canopy weight, but the quality is a huge miss for me. Thicker material and better stitching would be more worth it.

These canvas bags are quite nice. The stitching is well done and they are quite tough. There are handles at the top to carry them by but I would really only fill them 1/4 - half way as they can hold a lot of material inside and that means the weight will be very heavy if you fill it all the way to the top. There are Velcro straps to secure it to the pole that you need to weigh down. It is another tool to keep your umbrella or tent from tipping over or flying away. I might use rope anchors as well as I like to be prepared but that is just me.They are great since you can use rocks or sand from the surrounding area to fill it up and then just return the items back when you are done and fold up the bags for the next use. You can even place full water bottles inside then if no rocks or sand is available.

Two of the non-profit organizations I'm involved in participate in a lot of outdoor, outreach events and festivals. I have tried several methods to weigh down our 10x10 canopy tent, as it can become like a sail when the wind gusts. These bags solved the problem. The velcro loops on these weigh bags fit around the canopy poles. There is enough velcro to expand for larger size poles. Each bag has handles on the top which make them easier to carry when full. The material is tough enough to resist ripping. I filled the bag with dive weights. One of the best features is that the bags can be filled with sand, dirt, or any heavy material that is handy. At some of our events, we don't have sand or dirt available, and many of our volunteers aren't strong enough to lift sand buckets. Jugs of water can also be slipped into the bags. I used two 60 ounce cans of food as weights for a local festival. The black color complimented our booth branding well, and I placed some of our wildlife stickers on the weight bags. Putting stickers on the bags (or they can be marked with paint markers) help to ensure the bags don't get mixed up with other exhibitors when everyone is quickly tearing down at the end of the event. The bags fold up to a small square, which is small enough to fit in the pocket on the canopy carrying tent where the side panels are stored. Definitely worth the price to save a canopy from flipping over.

These sand bag style weights are easy to fill and secure to the posts of a typical folding canopy. You fill these with sand, such as sand box sand, and this makes them very weighty. We did find that a small amount of sand does leak out, so I suggest looking at putting sand in a sealed bag then inserting the pre-filled back within this product. The straps are easy to secure to the pools of your canopy and stay well in place.Overall Verdict? We used these at a recent outdoor event; the weather was breezy with wind gusts - the canopy stayed put much better than some neighbouring canopies. I recommend this product.

> KaKuEike Upgraded Sand Bags, Canopy Weights Set of 4 with Two Hand Straps ~$15The Good:+ Very inexpensive+ Holds a fair amountThe Bad:- Seal is not great- Fabric is not particularly heavyThese sandbags are inexpensive and hold a lot. But I'm used to far more heavy-duty sandbags, and while they won't last under heavy use and tossing around, they are a great value for what they are.

You can fill these with rocks, water bottles, or whatever you have on hand to keep your canopy in place, even in high winds. The thick straps stay put and the heavy canvas will last for years. These are a must if you travel with popup canopies!

These weight bags worked great. They are made of good quality material with secure velcro to hold together. It holds a good quantity inside and it does hold a good amount of weight. You can use anything in the area to fill these bags and keep everything secure. Has worked great on windy days and it comes with four bags for the corners of the canopy. Overall it held up nicely, kept the canopy from taking off on a windy day, but you can also use these as a quick secure method with umbrella poles or camping.

I bought these KaKuEike Upgraded Canopy Weight Bags for my photo studio, and they’ve been working great for keeping my light stands steady. They’re easy to fill with sand or rocks and stay secure thanks to the Velcro fasteners. I love that they’re not overly bulky, so they don’t get in the way, but they still hold up really well in the wind. The stitching seems solid, and I haven’t had any issues with them ripping or breaking, unlike some others I’ve tried. They're perfect for outdoor events, like when I’m shooting at outdoor locations and need to keep everything grounded. You can also throw in some rocks or even water bottles if you’re short on sand. Just keep in mind, they don’t seal 100% perfectly, so I’d recommend using a plastic bag inside for sand to avoid any leakage. Overall, they do the job well, and I feel much more confident with these bags in place!

This set of four canopy weights are very well made. They are the best weights I have found for the price. The design is ideal for both securing the canopy at the upright as well as carrying the weights using the straps. They are easy to fill and secure closed. They also are made of a durable materials with additional layer of lining on the bottom.
