This UVB lamp is wonderful. As I keep adding bearded dragons to my life, I need to keep up with the proper care. This light fixture and light were just what I needed for my newest one. The light is easy to install, works perfect, I expect the bulb to last the 6 months before it needs to be changed, and this is a wonderful value over some other brands.

My son has a crested gecko named Leo that he keeps in a rather large (18x18x24) terrarium that we never could illuminate properly. We tried your standard 5" Lamp/UVB reflector dome lights, but those proved to be too large and unwieldy, too hot, and they never managed to light up Leo's terrarium like we wanted. My son spotted these T5 UVB reptile lights from ReptiKing one day while browsing Amazon, and it looked to be exactly what we needed. We purchased two of them, removed the old dome lights, and then installed these T5 UVB lamps. These lights, combined with an external heating pad, were exactly what Leo needed. He's happy and we're happy. I highly recommend these lamps, and just about anything else from ReptiKing. I hope this helps!

I got this light to put in my second enclosure and it works very well. In my first enclosure I have the arcadia pro uvb fixture and this one works just as well. I have it set up on a smart outlet for timing purposes and it comes on and off without fail every time. My beardie seems happy, so overall I am pleased.

Build quality is good, and it puts out a good amount of UV when measured. It was super easy to set up and mount on top of our chameleon's enclosure. Definitely worth it!

Works great, just what my Bearded dragon needed for the large enclosure I purchased. It covers so much more area than the small lamps.

Small and didn't work right out of the box. Upon further inspection found bulb was installed incorrectly. Fixed that but still didn't work.

I have always been the type to think that brand name doesn't matter, as long as the product works. This light has shown me that I was 100% wrong, at least in the case of UVB lights! I have always bought the cheaper brand sold at big box pet stores, and they've worked fine so I never thought to seek out more. As soon as I pulled this light fixture out of the box, I knew that Repti King was in a whole other league. The fixture itself is so sleek and lightweight, made of metal instead of the typical plastic. It has a plug in for the power cord on both ends of the fixture, so you can chose which side is most convenient for you AND there is also an extra cord that you can use to daisy chain the fixtures together if you're using more than one! My absolute favorite part of this setup is the clips that are included to install it onto the screen of your terrarium. I am beyond ecstatic to be moving away from my slapped-together copper wire loops that i used to suspend my old uvb light. The clips are so simple to install, just a couple of wing nuts through the screen, and then the fixture easily clips onto them! It was an absolute breeze.

I was on the fence about dishing out the money for a t5 light and wasn't sure what direction to go and then this came up. It has made a big difference for my iguana. He spends most his time under this light or laying on top of it. I have it fixed to the side of the cage angled down. It doesn't get hot on top so I'm not worried there. And even with him climbing all over it it hasn't broken.
