This battery only powers the vacuum for 10 to 20 seconds before shutting down. I returned the first one for a replacement in the hopes that it was just a bad unit but the replacement performed the same as the first unit I received. This product is defective and does not work

Battery doesn’t fully charge. Lasts 6-8 minutes at most before dying.

Recieved this new battery. It was fully charged. Once it ran down it wouldn't charge. Bought a new charger thinking that might be the problem. Nope. Battery is still dead and won't charge.

Gave one because I can’t give zero. Doesn’t work with original Dyson charge and does not power the vacuum. Piece of crap.

Purchased this due to advertised capacity. Tested it on the dyson v8 and only lasted 8 minutes per charge. Original battery lasted 24-28 minutes per charge using continuous normal mode. This means that the battery inside is just probably around 1250mAh and not the advertised 8000mAh.Additional Update: Still in the process of returning this battery. My old previous battery that is not even the original only has 3000mAh capacity but lasted 20 minutes on a single charge. I am very disappointed on how everyone was reviewing this as a good battery when it is a scam.

This battery charged vacuumed for 2 min then turned off and on after that. Not good returning
