HOW TO MAINTAIN TRANSFER CASE?
- There is special gear oil inside the transfer case, which should be replaced regularly. It is recommended to replace it when the car has traveled 60,000 kilometers to 80,000 kilometers.
- When using the transfer case to switch drive modes, it is best to do it when the car is stationary to prevent the wheels from reacting against the transfer case and causing damage to the transfer case.
- Switching the drive mode with gears will seriously damage the transfer case, so when switching the drive mode, you can put it into N gear and then switch.

I purchased this with a 1 year warranty as stated in the description. Was installed by a shop and failed within 3 months of install. Can't get ahold of anyone to warranty the part. Amazon can't get contact information either, every phone number they have for seller is incorrect. Amazon did finally just refund my money for a return, but this has been a headache and shouldn't have happened at all. PUT YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION ON YOUR PAGE FOR WARRANTIES OR STOP SELLING JUNK PARTS WITH WARRANTIES THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO HONOR!!!!
