I bought this as a replacement for a previous product. I'm sure these will rust as well. How long will they last. Stainless steel screws would be a phenomenal improvement.

While initially I thought that the product would be a good replacement for our dishwasher rack it became apparent after 6 months that this would not be the case. In stead of using stainless hardware that would not rust over the long term, they decided to use plated steel which over the course of many washes started to rust out.

Kitchen Aid wanted $69 dollars and shipping of $12 for one. Bought Kitchen Aid exact parts .. 4 sets for $12 plus free shipping being a Amazon private client. Somethings on Amazon are better in pricing and shipping than directly dealing with the manufacture..

The wheels don’t rotate smoothly. Rusting after few days of use. The flat washer is not stainless steel.

I have been repairing these wheels on our Kenmore Elit dish washer so when I found these on Amazon Outlet I jumped to get them as they were way cheaper and better than the originals.

Bought to replace the failing rollers etc. on my 6 year old KitchenAid dishwasher. (They sure don't make these machines to last anymore). The plastic on the old pieces was failing, falling off, after daily use in hot-sanitizing water.Installation is fairly simple, you just have to be patient working with plastic parts. HINT: Watching a video of the process ahead of time is worth the time. The only tool I needed to help out was a largish flat blade screwdriver to help pry the old parts apart in some cases. You don't need to replace them all at once, you can do so as the old ones fail, if you wish.So far so good, the replacement parts have not failed (yet). They appear to be made of the same kind of hard plastic as the originals, so I don't hold out much hope for their longevity however. For the price, these are a good value, certainly compared to buying a new dishwasher or a replacement rack.
