Once your take the red handle off of the tube, it is very difficult to get it back in. It does not fit correctly. It is too small and doesn't properly latch. It works great, IF you do NOT take it apart at that joint. I do not recommend this product, if you want to detach the handle from the tube.

So glad to have found this! I've had a Shark vacuum for years, works perfect, but when the hose broke and on the manufacturer's website it was unavailable, I thought I that's the end.Then I found the replacement here, and it's absolutely perfect!My Shark is happy and I'm thrilled!😀
