Ok. So I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before doing this review and give the covers a chance. So I looked at the reviews and saw the high idle issues and saw the one review where the person mentioned no issues. I went with these cause of that review and thought wants it going to hurt. Now I did run into a high idle problem not the product fault but mines. I totally forgot to remove the pcv from my old valve cover which made my engine run with a high idle. I took out my old pcv and stuck it in the new valve cover and bam good by high idle. So I don’t know if the other people who was reporting high idle forgot to put there pcv in the new valve cover. I’m driving a 2010 Honda odyssey exl and everything matched up great! Did I mention how great they look too.. can’t go wrong with these and I replaced both my covers. Hope this helps!

Not sure what the issue others were having with idling, but I installed this on my odyssey and never experienced any idling issues. It is a very nice piece and looks great on the engine.

Same issue as the first person that commented. High idle on the Honda. Thinking it Could have been a list of things to cause high idle, I started working forward and swapping out every part that was on the list. An extra $1500 I didn't have to spend. Plus it's just lightly coated With red paint and peels off. While eliminating all the options, it is no longer under warranty to get any money back. Don't waste your time. Just by dorman. You get what you paid for. (Lesson learned)

Purchased the item as a replacement for a badly damaged cover along with some other items to fix minor issues. However, this caused me additional problems which also caused more money being spent. It wasn’t until I rechecked the reviews I realized the cover was the source to all my additional problems. I purchased another cover from a different vendor and the problem immediately went away. BTW the problem was that the vehicle would not idled within its parameters.

After installation rpm on my car was very high.Something was wrong with pcv port.
