I was worried I wouldn't be able to achieve the texture I wanted on an intricate plywood structure... covering inside curves while not flooding the surrounding areas. With a little practice (spraying from far away) I got the fine texture I wanted and it's consistent over all the areas... inside curves & outside flat areas.Although it gets dry to the touch within about an hour, don't touch it! Wait at least 4 or 5 hours before any rough handling. It continues to harden over about 3 days, and the result is really tough!Don't make my mistake... do NOT use automotive primer! I should have put this directly onto the bare plywood but I filled in all the end grain with filler-primer which is now chipping. Not Raptor's fault. I used UPOL's adhesion promotor but adhesion isn't the issue. The filler-primer is just plain weak, so the Raptor takes flakes of the primer with it.
