Clean off the tailpipe and exhaust tip with penetrating oil and a shop rag.

Try to slide the tip onto the exhaust pipe.

With some models, you will tighten screws and clamps to secure the exhaust tips.

For some models, you will weld a joint between the edges of the tailpipe and the exhaust tip

These are pretty good quality but be careful when welding on as you’ll burn right through them. They sound as you’d expect of a couple tips nothing crazy. I’d say 4-5 stars

It was a very tight fit on my son's 1993 S10, 2.25" exhaust, as the stock exhaust pipe was slightly out of round. It took several hits with a hammer to straighten our exhaust and file off weld splatter beads from the new exhaust system, before this extension would fit. Even then, we had to drive it on with a plastic hammer. Once on, it looks great!
