Although I only bought this for the cap as mine was worn, it appears to be a great replacement reservoir at a reasonable price. Eventually, I will install it, but for now all I can say is for face value as well as the cap I give it an A+...😁😎

Fixed my power steering whine after replacing this on my W211 E320. Replacing the fluid did not fix my whine. Replacing the power steering pump did not fix the whine either. It was only after replacing the reservoir with a new o-ring did the whine go away. Read some where that there is a screen in the reservoir that when ruptured, causes aeration of the fluid. Aeration of the fluid makes noise.

So far 6 months and all is well :) It is less thick than the Mercedes Original but works very well. I replaced the Power steering pump and decided to replace this reservoir while everything was off. I purchased the o-ring separate.Update: 1year and going strong! :)Update: 3+ years no issues. .

I don't remember what I paid for this product. I know it wasn't much. I loved the fact that I did the repair myself and saved nine hundred dollars plus more from the dealer. If you are not a mechanic don't do it yourself. Buy this product and let someone, who knows, install it for you. Dealer wanted eleven hundred- plus to repair my power steering.
