2002 BMW 330ci. This part does NOT fit, its tolerances appear to be 1mm off + -. This part would not seat in the new REIN radiator hose or the genuine BMW hose I was replacing. The genuine BMW sensor fit both hoses. The genuine BMW sensor was not faulty, it needed a new gasket; I removed the gasket from this faulty part and put it on the genuine BMW sensor, everything fit and worked fine.No amount of pushing would get this sensor to seat, with or without the gasket. The genuine BMW clicks right in and fits snugly.My part was shipped & sold by Amazon, I can only assume their source for this part isn’t consistent; some people’s sensor fit perfect and others don’t.

2007 BMW 525xi. Cooling fan was not working. Troubleshoot and all came down to the sensor. Work like a champ or you can get it from the dealer with some $$$$$

I was replacing the radiator and main hoses and when this sensor was reinstalled, it was not sealing properly likely due to a compressed o-ring. The entire assembly was priced comparably to a replacement o-ring. It fit perfectly and resolved the problem on my 2006 BMW 325xi.
