Exact spec as oem for bmw 2008,328i 3.0L , wanted to use it but the radiator I got already had one on and came with a extra drain plug

This fits Automatic n54 bmw 2009 335i. Note that it will not fit a manual because it is too long.

While it looks identical to the part I was replacing, it leaks badly. It’s not usable. I verified the fit before purchasing it but took a risk getting a cheaper replacement part. I would not get this part for a 2008 BMW 328i.

I should have listened to the other reviewer who said the same thing before I purchased this garbage. I have a e93 BMW with the N52 engine, automatic transmission. This is the correct part for the car, and it leaks like crazy. I can only assume that the gasket is not cut to OEM spec.

I literally bought this part just to get the blue plastic plug. Note that other full part users have discovered that the o-ring and assembly diameter do not quite match OEM, so apparently other users of the entire part have experienced some leakage.In my case, I did an end run around that, since all I needed was the blue screw in plug. I can report by direct comparison that the part is identical to the OEM BMW part (the blue plug)Therefore, it is an easy and direct replacement, if your blue plug has begun to disintegrate as old BMW plastic tends to do.Yes, you can buy JUST the blue plug - but the cost is almost the same in plastic (and three times as much in brass) Worst of all, the lead time for me was a couple extra weeks to order just the plug. Meanwhile, I could get this entire part overnight, and simply toss the unused part into my spares box.Worked for me - just another way to skin the cat. Five stars on the BLUE PLUG - did not use the suspect black housing, which may or may not have dimensional accuracy to OEM requirements. Buyer be aware.
