Against my better judgement I purchased this after seeing the reviews stating that the reservoir leaked immediately after install. It leaks from where it’s poorly welded together at the center as well as the top cap. Would have been a good deal if it wasn’t leaking all over my intake tube, mass air flow sensor AND THROTTLE BODY!! Would not ever purchase again.

Looks like OEM part with same features. Good heavy gauge material. Hose connections like the OEM part on a BMW.Being in the engine compartment, the tank is subjected to thermal extremes all the time. It will be interesting to see how the material choices for this copycat tank hold up. Would buy again.

I bought this part once before in 2019, and it was a great replacement. I just purchased it again and received a defective one. Right away I could see poor quality, the plastic weld had excess material everywhere, some even broken off in to the reservoir. In addition, the 'outlet' or supply line to the PS pump was largely restricted, leading to cavitation on the pump (audible whining), frothy/bubbling fluid, and poor performance. Driving for any extended length of time with this condition would likely cause damage to the power steering system. I put my old reservoir back on and will have to keep using it. I will be returning for a refund.

I put it on and started having problems a week later for no reason...beware of cheap parts. I should have just bought the $40-$50 version from the import sites.

So far so good, it works. Had to clean out a few loose bits of plastic from inside the container, but other than that it's good. didn't check the inbuilt filter though.
