The old PnP switch contacts had been eroded, After installing the new PnP switch supplied by Amazon, my 1998 Volvo S70 shifts into gears smoothly. It feels like driving a new car when shifting gears. Thank you Amazon staff. The product description is useful and true. I am a delighted customer. The PnP switch arrived at my doorstep one week ahead of estimated delivery time here in South Africa and to add to the delight I received a refund of amount not used in import duty. Thank you Amazon keep up the excellent service.

Failed after 2 days. Buy OEM. It's not cheaper if you have to replace it 2 days later

Did install, checked adjustment/alignment and blinking arrow did not go away. The car still doesn't shift into gear from a start properly and the diag code is still 313 (transmission/PNP error). Have heard that non-OEM switches do not resolve the PNP-related blinking arrow code. Will re-install and re-align and update this review.

The part is great well manufactured. The only problem is amazon let me order it even though it doesnt fit my vehicle. When i got around to working on it found out it isnt right and it is to late to return. You win some you lose some.
