Not a good idea to purchased this . Couse over heat my engine on disco 2 and bend my cylinder heads on my trip . 15$ URO cap = -4000$ now on headgasket work .

This is not for 2002 or older Land Rover discover! Look at the rating numbers on the cap. 2003 to 2005 takes a 140 (140 kpa = 20 psi) 2002 and older, but not sure before 1999, use cap with 200 (200kpa = 29psi). Your system will bleed off coolant until you over heat if you use the lower rated cap. I almost rebuilt my engine thinking i had a bad engine when it turns out it was all blowing through the overflow vent tube!

Recommendation is to keep these changed and in good working order on your Diesel to protect the life of it - seems to work as described - although I cannot attest that I had seen any sign the original one was not performing before being replaced.

Fits 04 Range Rover. I had an expansion tank coolant gushing and spill at the top cap area and lower hose. Probably cause from the excessive air in the line. This cap fixed it.
