I like having this style of hammer around for small equipment/kids toys/household projects, but I’m not doing bodywork or making money with it, so I have no reason to pay much for the lighter duties it’ll perform. I also sometimes grind the non-hammer end to fit a specific job. This one seems totally fine. I’ve beaten on a few things and it seems find. Mostly it’s for light duty hammering on brass drifts and such, so the wide head is handy and light weight is perfect. Handle feels good, head is snug.

Hammer is damn fine. Only gripe is the finish on the head.15 mins with an orbital at 240, 400, and a cutting buffer and you've got a mirror finish.
